Herb Rejuvenation Peel
Herb Rejuvenation Peel - 60% AHA & BHA
Herb Rejuvenation Peel is an herbal, seaweed, essential oil Alpha & Beta Hydroxy Acid peel. The compound is a mixture of dried, crushed particles of whole plants & seaweed. It contains no synthetic chemicals or abrasives devised to work as a deep botanical peel to achieve the maximum amount of skin exfoliation with little discomfort. The only discomfort will be that of a light sunburn or windburn. . The most unique aspect of is not just its plant based formula, but rather the immediately visible results of the treatment. Herb Rejuvenation Peel can be repeated any number of times without harmful side effects.
Herb Rejuvenation Peel’s plant based formula, with its herbs, algae, minerals, enzymes and vitamins, is applied by specially trained professional beauticians. The micro-particles of the herbs gently smooth away the superficial layers of the skin. This stimulates the growth zone of the skin to produce new skin cells. The blood circulation of the skin is increased and the individual cells receive a surge of oxygen. Epidermolysis (peeling) will occur after 48-72 hours and the skin shows signs of being VISIBLY RENEWED AND FRESH. The simulated blood circulation intensifies metabolism and induces the regeneration of the skin by production of new cells and collagen fibres. The skin must be moisturised INTENSILY for the next 8-10 days with Rapid Recovery Complex & Collagen Peptide Serum.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who is qualified to apply salon strength Belle Natural Skincare Herb Rejuvenation Mask?
Beauty therapists who are qualified to perform Herb Rejuvenation Peel. They are trained and certified specialists with knowledge of the skin function and the treatment.
WHATT ARE THE LONG TERM BENEFITS OF HERB REJUVENATION PEEL?
Superficial peeling is very effective in rejuvenating skin that has early indications of photo aging, fine wrinkles, roughness, and patches of early actinic keratoses.
HOW WILL MY NEW SKIN LOOK?
There is no redness in the resurfaced skin, the complexion is considerably improved, fresh, clear, and radiant.
DO I NEED TO PREPARE FOR A HERB REJUVENATION PEEL?
Ideally, the skin should be prepared for at least 2 weeks prior to the peel. Skin preparation should include the use of Preparation fluid (AHA 8% from Belle Natural Skincare). This will leave the skin primed for penetration of the peel, accelerate the healing process and reduce the post-peel complications such as hyper pigmentation. This is used everyday for at least 1 week prior to the peel to prepare the skin
CAN HERB REJUVENATION PEEL BE USED ON ALL SKIN COLOURS?
While all colours of skin are acceptable for Herb Rejuvenation Peel, it is pale white to white skin that is most likely to have the early photo damage best treated by the mask. Some darker skin may have a temporary loss of pigmentation after Herb Rejuvenation Peel.
COMMON SIDE EFFECTS ARE -
Skin redness, minor skin swelling, minor pain, redness and itchiness. Less common side effects include: infection, hyper pigmentation, cold sores, demarcation lines, acne. A very
important post-procedure precaution is avoidance of sun exposure during healing. While you are wiping your skin with a warm cloth you can carefully slide the dead skin off. Try not to press and slide. Your skin may peel a few times and it’s best not to press and pull to avoid discomfort. This symptom passes very quickly. After you bathe your skin in warm water you will be bright red! Basically your remaining old skin will be massaged away on the new skin, which is now very absorbent.

AHA, BHA, create a safe exfoliation to remove surface damage and dead skin layers, skin pigmentation and increase cell turnover to stimulate new healthy skin cell production. The rejuvenation process not only helps create a more even skin tone but also results in healthier plumper skin surface cells.
WHAT IS GLYCOLIC ACID?
Glycolic acid is an AHA derived from sugar cane and one of the first acids used for cosmetic rejuvenation of the skin. Because of its ability to help reverse signs of sun damage and pigmentation safely, glycolic acid facial peels are a popular choice for treating many signs of premature aging. A Glycolic Peel can be performed on the face, neck, chest, hands and even the arms and legs.
Glycolic for skin pigmentation problems.
A series of peels is recommended to achieve maximum results: generally 6 treatments.
When treating pigmentation glycolic peels can be safely combined with fading creams and even IPL.
After peel.
There is no downtime with a peel, you can return to work immediately.
As with any resurfacing it is important to wear SPF 30+ sunscreen daily because the skin will be more susceptible to sun damage. We advise using Mineral makeup after peels for skin protection.
FACIAL CHEMICAL PEELS RESTORE A MORE YOUTHFUL APPEARANCE BY -
Reducing appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, creating a smoother skin surface: removing scaly rough patches. Restoring a more even skin colour. Effectively reducing or removing unwanted skin pigmentation
BENEFITS OF SALICYLIC (BHA) -
Salicylic acid loosens and removes aged cells, oil and debris attached to the skins surface reducing future breakouts significantly. Salicylic acid is oil-soluble and lipophilic, penetrating follicles deep down that contain sebum, exfoliating, cleaning and removing impurities responsible for clogged pores. It also enhances new skin cell production and promotes collagen formation creating a healthy glow on the surface of your skin. Reduces the appearance of light scars as well as scars caused by acne, helps to smooth wrinkled skin and reduce fine lines. Controls acne breakouts and decreases the amount of redness associated with pimples & sheds off multiple layers of skin immediately, resulting in a healthier looking appearance. Great for improving damaged skin caused by the sun or other UV light damage. Brightens and illuminates the skin. Significantly increases the absorption of lotions, treatments, and other cosmetic products used on a regular basis. Helps restore fresh healthy skin by the production of new collagen.
Salicylic acid is a Beta-Hydroxy Acid, which is an outstanding deep cleanser especially designed for the skin. Acne vulgaris is the most "common" form of acne. This happens by an excess secretion of oils from the sebaceous glands in conjunction with dead skin cells (corneocytes) which block the follicle of the hair. These oil secretions build up underneath the blocked pore, creating a perfect environment for bacteria. Salicylic acid works best on acne prone and sensitive skin types. Because of the larger size of the molecule, salicylic acid generates less irritation than the alpha hydroxy acids (glycolic acid), allowing the structure to cling to the surface for longer periods of time, resulting in excellent deep pore cleaning abilities. Salicylic acid destroys the bacteria below and unclogges the pores, allowing the skin to breathe.
BENEFITS OF ALPHA HYDROXY ACID (AHA) -
The main difference between alpha hydroxy acids and beta hydroxy acids is their lipid (oil) solubility. Alpha hydroxy acids (glycolic acid) are very water soluble only, whereas the beta hydroxy acid is lipid (oil) soluble. This means that beta hydroxy acid (salicylic acid) can penetrate into the pore which contains sebum and exfoliate the dead skin cells that are built up inside the pore. Because of this difference in physical properties, the beta hydroxy acid is better on oily skin with blackheads and whiteheads. Alpha hydroxy acids are better used on thickened, sun-damaged skin where breakouts are not a problem. Alpha Hydroxy and beta hydroxy acids ensure that almost all skin types will respond to this type of treatment. Research has also shown that Glycolic Acid will penetrate more effectively through an exfoliated surface. Applying salicylic acid in conjunction with glycolic acid will achieve an extremely effective skin exfoliation and skin peel rejuvenation treatment especially for those with oily skin! With our peel the results are priceless, however recovery time can last much longer up to 2 full weeks or sometimes more. Our peel penetrates through the epidermis into the papillary dermis resulting in a much deeper peel
The type and number of peels required depend on your skin type and the concerns that need addressing. The degree of sun damage, skin pigmentation, enlarged or congested pores, skin ageing, or a tendency to acne determine what peel is best for your face.
The best peels for pigmentation: AHA face peels such as glycolic or lactic acid are best for pigmentation. The lactic acid is more hydrating, making it a better choice for mature, dry skin affected by pigmentation. This can be combined with 100% ascorbic acid or vitamin C. Though not strictly a peel ascorbic acid has enormous skin lightening and brightening qualities.
The best peels for acne: Salicylic acid or (BHA) peels are the best for acne. These peels are oil soluble and the only peels that can penetrate into pores to exfoliate remove oil and unblock pores, clear acne and blackheads. They are also anti-inflammatory and help settle skin irritation. Once again for overall skin brightening they can be layered with vitamin C to give your skin a true boost.
The best peels for sun damage: If surface roughness, texture problems or fine lines and wrinkles concern you glycolic or lactic acid peels the best choice to restore a more youthful glow.
Our peels can be layered: If you have a combination of problems we can individualise your treatment and layer solutions to address multiple concerns in one treatment.
It is best to book your client in for a free skin analysis to discuss your concerns and advise which face peel or combination will help their particular skin.

After peel:
